Is the preview really free?
Yes. You can create a watermarked preview in seconds at no charge. A small daily limit applies so we can keep previews free. You only pay if you unlock the full-resolution file — then it’s yours instantly.
How many free previews can I create?
You can create three free previews per day. The allowance resets at midnight UTC — not on a rolling 24-hour timer. Previews you’ve already made stay available to view and purchase.
What happens when I reach the daily limit?
You’ll see a message on the create page: the daily free preview limit has been reached, and you can come back tomorrow or purchase an existing preview. We don’t send an email or other notification. Edits on a preview you’ve already made have a separate daily limit, with the same kind of on-screen message.
Can I see the artwork before I buy?
Absolutely. You’ll see your portrait in seconds — before you pay. Review the look, try another style if needed, then unlock the download when you’re ready.
Is my photo good enough?
Clear, well-lit photos work best. Face the subject toward the camera when possible, avoid heavy blur, and keep features in frame. See our Photo Guide for details.
Do you work with people and pets?
Yes — individuals, couples, families, and pets are all welcome. Pick a style that matches the subject and upload a clear photo.

How do I pay?
Checkout is powered by Dodo Payments. We accept major credit and debit cards. We never store your full card details on BigPhoto servers.
What do I receive after payment?

Can I change my order?
Before payment, you can regenerate with a different style or photo, within the daily edit limit. After payment, your download unlocks instantly for that portrait.

How do I get my file?
It unlocks instantly after checkout. Download it from your order page right away, and we’ll also email a copy.

Because you preview free first, you can try another style before purchasing. If something goes wrong with your download, we’ll help under our Happiness Guarantee.
